Deep in the wide blue ocean lives a small sky-blue dolphin with big, friendly dark eyes and a curious mind. One sunny morning she swims farther than ever before and discovers a coral garden glowing with pink, orange and purple branches. But the reef is damaged: some coral is broken and grey, tangled fishing line wraps around the branches, and old plastic bags drift through the water. Realising she cannot fix it alone, the little dolphin sets out to find help.
Her first stop is Turtle, old and wise, who has watched the reef for many years and knows how to clean it safely. On the way they meet Clownfish, small and quick, who can squeeze into tiny places, and Octopus, shy and unsure of her own courage but armed with eight helpful hands. Together the four friends return to the garden, clear away the rubbish piece by piece, and plant small broken coral on the bare rocks so it can grow again. When a heavy old tire threatens their work, Octopus discovers that fear can be faced when friends stand beside you.
The story follows this small team through a shared task and shows young readers how pollution harms the ocean and how damaged places can recover with patient care. It is a gentle tale about teamwork, asking for help, and finding bravery you did not know you had. Children in the early primary years, and anyone reading aloud with them, will find a warm introduction to caring for nature and to the idea that a big job becomes small when everyone lends a hand.

A Passage from the Tale
The Little Dolphin's Garden Çınar BİBER
Deep in the wide blue ocean, where the sunlight danced on the waves, lived a little dolphin. Her back was smooth and skyblue, fading to a soft white belly. She had big, friendly dark eyes and a small curved fin. Every morning she zoomed through the water, curious about everything. "What will I find today?" she clicked happily, flicking her tiny flippers. 1
One sunny morning, the little dolphin swam farther than ever before. She followed a trail of bright bubbles around a big rock. Then she stopped. Below her stretched a coral garden, glowing with colors like a rainbow under the sea. Pink, orange, and purple coral waved gently. "Oh!" she whispered. "It's beautiful!" 2
She swam closer, her gentle smile fading. Some coral was broken and grey. Tangled fishing line wrapped around the branches, and old plastic bags drifted like sad ghosts. "Who hurt this lovely garden?" she said. Her big dark eyes blinked. She nudged a piece of trash with her rounded snout. "I can't fix this alone. I need help." 3
The little dolphin raced to find her friend Turtle, who was old and wise. His olive-green shell had warm brown patterns, and his kind amber eyes twinkled. "Turtle!" she called. "The coral garden is hurt! Please help me!" Turtle nodded slowly. "I know that reef," he said. "I have watched it for many years. I will show you how to clean it safely." 4
On the way, they met Clownfish, darting between the sea plants. His orange body had three bold white stripes, and his big black eyes sparkled. "Where are you going?" he chirped. "To save the coral garden!" said the dolphin. "Can I come? I'm small and quick!" said Clownfish. "I can squeeze into tiny places!" "Yes!" laughed the dolphin. "We need you!" 5
Next, they found Octopus hiding under a rock. Her coral-pink skin was covered with tiny lighter spots, and her golden eyes peeked out shyly. "Hello," she said softly. "Would you like to help us rescue the reef?" asked the dolphin. Octopus uncurled her eight arms. "I have many hands," she said, "but I'm not very brave." "You'll be great!" said Clownfish. 6
The four friends swam back to the coral garden. Turtle pointed with his strong paddle flipper. "First, we clean away the trash," he said. "Clownfish, you take the small pieces. Octopus, lift the heavy things. Dolphin, gather the floating bags." Everyone nodded. "Teamwork!" cheered the dolphin, and they began to work together. 7
Clownfish darted into every crevice, pulling out bits of old net. "Got it! Got it!" he chirped, making everyone giggle. Octopus wrapped her curling arms around a big plastic box and lifted it gently away. The little dolphin flipped her tail and scooped up drifting bags. Piece by piece, the reef grew cleaner. "Look at us go!" she clicked. 8
Turtle smiled his gentle, slow smile. "Now we plant new coral," he said. "Find small broken pieces and place them on the bare rocks. They will grow again." The dolphin carried pieces on her snout. Octopus arranged them carefully. But some spots were too narrow. "Clownfish!" called the dolphin. "We need your tiny fins!" 9
Clownfish squeezed into the narrow gaps, placing coral just right. "I fit!" he squealed happily. The little dolphin lifted a strand of green seaweed and set it gently beside a new coral. "There," she said. "A little garden gift." Everyone worked side by side, and the reef began to glow with color again. 10
Suddenly, a big wave rolled a heavy old tire toward the coral. "Oh no!" cried Clownfish. "It will crush the little pieces!" Octopus gulped, then uncurled all her arms. "I can do it," she whispered. "We're here with you!" called the dolphin. Together they pushed and rolled, and the tire rolled safely away. "We did it!" cheered the friends. 11
Octopus smiled a real smile for the first time. "I was scared," she said, "but you helped me be brave." Turtle nodded wisely. "That is what friends do," he said. "Protecting nature is a big job. But when everyone helps, it becomes small and fun." The friends danced in a happy circle around the bright coral garden, sending bubbles everywhere. 12
Days passed, and the coral garden grew more beautiful than ever. Pink and orange branches swayed, and tiny fish came to live there. The little dolphin swam over the reef every morning, her sky-blue back shining. "Good morning, garden!" she called. "You look wonderful today!" The new coral waved as if to say thank you. 13
Word spread through the ocean. Other sea creatures came to see the garden and to help keep it clean. "This is our ocean home," said the dolphin. "We all take care of it together." Clownfish zoomed around, checking for trash. Octopus arranged shells neatly. Turtle watched over everyone with his kind amber eyes. Their teamwork made the whole reef stronger. 14
One evening, the friends rested together above the colorful garden. "Remember how sad it looked?" asked the dolphin. "Before we all helped?" "And remember how fun it was," said Clownfish, "to fix it together?" Octopus curled her arms around a small shell. "I learned that helping friends makes me brave," she said. Turtle smiled. "And caring for nature makes us all a better team." 15
So when you see a bright coral garden, think of the little dolphin with sky-blue skin. She learned that big problems shrink when friends join hands and fins and arms. Protecting nature is easier and sweeter when everyone helps together. And if you ever find a place that needs a little care, gather your friends.
